18+ only. Gambling with real money involves risk — never stake more than you can afford to lose. Terms apply at every operator and can change without notice; always read the current terms on the operator's own site. Free, confidential help: BeGambleAware.org.

The tiles below are the full list of slots on this site. Every one of them opens in your browser in demo mode — no account, no email address, no payment. The filter above narrows the list to a single studio, and the search box works from the first letter you type.

If you're after a particular setting, start with the theme directory; if you'd rather browse by studio, head for the provider list. Below the grid we explain how to read RTP and volatility, and how demo play differs from playing for real money.

Free online slots — what's on this page

This site is a catalogue of demo games, not a casino. We've collected 799 games from three studios: Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO and BGaming. These are the software makers whose slots you'll later find in almost every online casino — so if you test a title here, you know what to expect from it anywhere else.

Every game has its own page with a description, the RTP taken from the studio's own game sheet, volatility, reel layout, ways to win and a list of bonus features. The demo itself loads straight from the studio's servers, in the same build casinos serve to players. One difference: instead of a cash balance you get play-money credits.

We don't run real-money games, we don't take deposits and we don't pay winnings out. We also don't publish specific bonus offers — terms change weekly, and a bonus headline without the full conditions, meaning the wagering requirement, minimum deposit and expiry date, is simply misleading.

Slots with no registration and no download

Playing slots online once meant downloading a casino client onto your computer. Today you download nothing: every game in this library is built in HTML5, so it runs in a browser window like any other page. No installer, no plugin, no Flash — just a link and a "Play demo" button.

There's no registration either. We don't collect email addresses, we don't send confirmation codes and we don't ask for a phone number or card details. Clicking a tile opens that game's page and the demo starts straight away, usually within a few seconds depending on your connection. The only thing stored in your browser is your favourites list, and only if you click the star on a tile yourself.

Having no account has one consequence worth knowing about: nothing is remembered. Refreshing the page resets the demo and restores the full credit balance. For testing a slot that's an advantage — you can start over as often as you like, and it costs you nothing.

It's worth separating two things that often get conflated. "No-registration slots" here means demo games: there's no account because there's no money. A "no-registration casino" is a different construction entirely — an operator that verifies you through online banking instead of a sign-up form. There the deposit, the identity check and the risk are all very real.

How to choose a slot: RTP, volatility, features and theme

Slots differ from each other far more than the artwork suggests. The four things below tell you more about a game than any marketing copy, and we publish all four on the tile or the game's page.

RTP — what the slot returns over the long run

RTP (return to player) is the percentage of all money staked that a slot returns to players across a very long run of spins. In modern slots the typical figure sits between 96% and 96.5%. An RTP of 96.5% means that statistically, of every £100 staked, £96.50 goes back to players and £3.50 stays with the casino. That's an average over millions of spins, not a promise about your session — in a single hour you might lose your whole budget or hit a win worth several hundred times your stake.

One trap: the same title is often shipped to casinos in several RTP variants. A studio may prepare a 96.5%, a 94% and a 92% build, and the operator picks which one it runs. The figure we take from the studio's game sheet is always worth comparing against the one in the paytable at your casino.

Volatility — the rhythm in which a slot pays

Volatility describes not how much a slot pays but how those payouts are distributed. A low-volatility game pays often in small amounts and your balance drifts down slowly. A high-volatility game can stay silent for several hundred spins and then give everything back in one bonus round. Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus and most modern grid slots are high volatility; Wolf Gold is a good example of a medium one. A demo is the best possible place to feel this — two hundred free spins tell you more about a game's rhythm than a label in a table.

Bonus features — where the big wins come from

In most modern slots the base game is a waiting room and all the top-end maths sits in the bonus round. Free spins are the commonest bonus: a few scatters trigger a run of spins with some enhancement. Multipliers boost bonus wins, sometimes adding up into three figures. Sticky wilds lock onto the reels for the following spins. Cash-collect features store the cash values on symbols and pay them out together. We mark these features as pills on each game's page, so you can search for a mechanic rather than a title.

Theme — the one thing that doesn't change the maths

Theme has no effect on RTP or volatility, but it decides whether you'll want a second session. The library has Egyptian slots, Greek-mythology games, classic fruit machines, sweet-themed grid slots and a dozen more categories — the full list is in the theme directory. If you'd rather start from a studio, each has its own page on the provider list, along with what it's known for.

The types of slot you'll find here

Under the artwork sit several genuinely different constructions. They are worth telling apart, because they — not the theme — decide the pace of the game and how fast a balance disappears.

  • Classic slots (fruit machines): Three reels, or five reels and three rows, with five to twenty-five paylines. Cherries, sevens, jokers, minimal features. They play fast and read clearly, and they take small stakes well. Here that means Joker's Jewels and Hot to Burn.
  • Video slots (five reels): The industry standard for two decades: five reels, ten to fifty lines, a free-spins round, wilds and scatters, full artwork and sound. Book of Dead and The Dog House belong to this group.
  • Megaways: A mechanic licensed from Big Time Gaming that varies the number of symbols on each reel. The ways to win are recalculated on every spin and reach 117,649, or 200,704 in some titles. High volatility is the rule here, not the exception.
  • Cluster pays and win-anywhere grids: A group of adjacent matching symbols wins, or simply enough of them anywhere on the grid. Winning symbols vanish and new ones drop in (tumbling reels), so one spin can produce several payouts in a row. Sweet Bonanza, Fruit Party and Sugar Rush work this way.
  • Jackpot slots: A slice of every stake feeds a pool that grows until someone takes it. It can be fixed and local — like the three tiers in Wolf Gold — or progressive and shared across many casinos. In a demo the jackpot is decoration only: it can't be won on credits with no value.
  • Bonus buy: The option to buy the bonus round outright, usually for 75–100 times your stake. In a demo it's the cheapest way to see what a game actually offers in its bonus without waiting for scatters. For real money it's the fastest known way to burn a deposit, and in some jurisdictions the feature is banned outright.

How demo play differs from playing for real money

The maths is identical. Same random number generator, same paytable, same RTP, same max-win cap. The studio ships one game and only switches the balance mode. That's why a demo is a sensible test: what you learn about a game's rhythm and how often the bonus lands carries over to the paid version one for one.

There are two differences and both matter. The first is formal: demo credits have no cash value whatsoever. They can't be withdrawn, exchanged or carried into a casino, and refreshing the page resets them. If you "win" £50,000 in a demo, you have won nothing and nobody will transfer it to you.

The second is psychological: you aren't risking anything, so you play differently. It's easy to set the maximum stake and chase a loss, because nothing hurts. That's a habit you don't want to carry to a real balance. If you treat the demo as practice, set a stake proportional to the budget you'd actually play with and count how many spins the credit lasts. That single number is a more honest description of the game than the studio's entire write-up.

What a demo can't answer is everything that isn't the game itself: how fast the casino pays, what document checks look like, what wagering a bonus carries and whether that slot counts towards it in full. All of that sits with the operator and has to be read in its terms — how wagering requirements and other bonus terms actually work, we cover separately.

Slots on a phone or tablet

Every game in this library is mobile, because HTML5 knows no other option. There's no separate app to install and no cut-down "mobile version" with a shorter list of titles — it's the same game, adapting its layout and button sizes to your screen and orientation.

A few things are worth knowing on a phone. Games on a 6×5 or 7×7 grid read better in landscape; in portrait the symbols shrink to a size where wins are hard to follow. One longer demo session is tens of megabytes of data, so on mobile data it's worth skipping autoplay. Battery drains faster than during ordinary browsing, because reel animation is continuous work for the graphics chip.

And the least technical point: tapping a spin button is faster than clicking a mouse, which turns "I'll just try one game" into forty minutes remarkably easily. In a demo that doesn't matter. On a real balance it's precisely the mechanism most losses rest on, so if you play for money, set a time and money limit before you start rather than during.

Free slots — frequently asked questions

Can I really play for free, with no charges at all?
Yes. All 799 games in this library run in demo mode on play-money credits. There's no entry fee, no paid "premium" version and we never ask for card details. The only cost is the data your network charges you for.
Do I have to register or create an account?
No. There is no sign-up form because there is nothing to sign up for — with no money there's no balance, and with no balance there's no account. Your favourites list is stored locally in your browser and never reaches a server.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. The games run in HTML5, inside a browser window. A current Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge is enough. Flash isn't needed — it was retired in 2020 and none of these titles use it any more.
Can you win real money in a demo?
No. Demo credits have no cash value, they can't be withdrawn or exchanged, and they reset to their starting figure when you refresh the page. Any site promising payouts from demo play is misleading you.
Is the RTP in a demo the same as in the real-money game?
In the same build of the game — yes, it's the identical file and the identical maths. Bear in mind, though, that studios ship some titles in several RTP variants, for instance 96.5%, 94% and 92%, and the casino decides which it runs. So it's always worth checking the figure in the paytable at the casino you're playing at.
How many spins does it take to judge a slot?
A hundred to two hundred spins is enough to feel the rhythm. Seeing the bonus round in a high-volatility slot usually takes several hundred, because scatters land on average once every 150–250 spins. If the game has a bonus buy, use it in the demo — you'll see the same bonus without the wait.
Is playing demo slots legal?
Playing on credits with no cash value lacks the two elements that define gambling: a stake and a money prize. Playing for real money is a separate matter, governed by the gambling law of wherever you live and by licensed operators. This site runs no real-money games and takes no deposits. This is general information, not legal advice.
Why don't you show specific bonus offers?
Because a bonus without its full conditions is misleading. A headline reading “200 free spins” means nothing without the wagering requirement, the minimum deposit, the maximum stake allowed while wagering and the expiry date. So we explain how to read those terms and leave the current numbers to the operators, who are the only ones who can stand behind them.

18+ only. Demo games use play-money credits with no cash value. RTP is taken from the studio's own game sheet; max win, volatility and feature details are also studio figures, and some values vary by casino. Play responsibly.
